progress... thank goodness.

i am officially done painting the scarves.
that paint was super smelly so i'm glad i got that out of the way.

i can't wait to start embroidering!

i'm pretty excited how this series is coming along.
it's so bright and playful
and completely different than what i usually gravitate towards.

sometimes forcing yourself to try new things can turn out alright.

i'm having a hard time keeping my eyeballs open so off to bed for me.

loves!!

slow and steady..

if my space heater was any closer my feet would catch on fire.
what happened to warm, spring showers?
now it's rain mixed with snow, almost freezing temperatures.
brrr.
good excuse to avoid the outdoors and craft all night. :)

i painted one of my circle scarves tonight to see how it would turn out.
the fabric paint was surprisingly vibrant.
{and unfortunately stinky}

tomorrow when it dries i'll transfer the pattern and embroider!
i'm thinking this will look pretty neat when it's all said and done,
and i've been practicing my embroidery stitches!

i used carbon paper to transfer the image to paint and i will do the same with the embroidery pattern.
the amount of muscle required to transfer the image is pretty intense.
i have a feeling after 3 more of these i'm going to be pretty buff in the arms!

{maybe this is all i needed to make my heybabies go away}
i love you natalie dee (image source).

off to find some wool socks!
